What We Do

Riders Nigeria is headquartered in Abuja with units across the country, positioned strategically to serve the nation’s major tribes in Enugu, Kaduna, Lagos and Taraba States.
Riders started working in Nigeria in 1999, when we partnered with the World Health Organization (WHO) on the nationwide polio eradication programme.
Since 2010 we have diversified, reinvigorated, and improved our capacity from fleet management to vehicular handling and training, public health supply chain logistics, sample transportation and mobilisation of community health extension workers.
We have rebuilt our operational and technical capacity so that we can serve Nigerian health systems more efficiently and effectively, working in partnership with the governments, international NGOs and local groups in a collective bid to ensure equal access to healthcare

Monitoring and Evaluation Unit

The M&E unit is staffed with creative and skilled personnel who exude professionalism. Our overarching mandate is to continually provide technical support across all operational functionalities and showcase evidence of Riders’ impact in the public health arena. We aim to strengthen management by providing valid information which facilitates informed operational decisions.
Our multifaceted missions are internally and externally targeted
- to ensure Riders’ programmes are meeting anticipated goals
- to keep track of project performance indicators for prompt correspondence with partners and stakeholders
- to measure progress and give trusted advice on risk management

Global Health Programs Coordination

In order to fulfil Riders for Health’s central mandate in moving global health forward, Riders Nigeria has a global health coordination unit which upholds the principles of healthcare ethics and best practice across all administrative and departmental service offerings. The unit is anchored by a team of internationally trained and experienced public health practitioners who continue to strengthen the country program with innovative ideas for top-notch service delivery.
